Due to the unprecedented situation with the Coronavirus outbreak and recent Government guidelines our business practices have changed to ensure the health and safety of our staff and also our customers. Please see updates below:
In light of the Government announcement to close certain businesses and limit travel where possible, Garland UK for the remainder of the week will be operating as normal but we have decided to halt all deliveries to customers and contractors as of Friday the 27th March at noon. We have taken this decision to protect the health and safety of our staff and to help combat the spread of the virus by limiting travel within the country and thereby allowing our staff to isolate themselves at home.
Although deliveries will be temporarily suspended, Garland UK will be open for business as usual. 80% of our staff are able to work safely from home and will be able to service our customers and clients as outlined below:
Clients and Surveyors
Our nationwide team of Technical Managers are fully committed and available to answer questions, conduct remote meetings, provide specifications, technical drawing and continue to work on your roofing projects. On-site surveys are currently suspended for every-ones health and safety but we can continue to service your needs in every other aspect.
As mentioned above all deliveries will be suspended temporarily from the 27th March at noon. Our team at Garland headquarters and your Regional Technical Manager will however still be able to answer your questions regarding future orders and schedule orders for delivery once our warehouse is back in full operation. We are able to deal with technical issues regarding application of products remotely, either by phone call, email or video call.
