Insul-Lock® insulation adhesive is a single component, low rise, fast setting, solvent free, modified urethane adhesive designed to adhere approved insulation to insulation, structural decks, base sheets, and smooth surfaced built up roofs.

• Ease of Installation

- Insul-Lock's revolutionary formulation allows for quick installation with no major equipment investment. Simply apply Insul-Lock in 1.27 cm to 1.91 cm ribbons using the pail or an automatic applicator and place, do not slide, the boards onto the substrate. There is no need to continuously walk in the boards to maintain positive contact. This translates into savings for both the contractor and the building owner.

• Low Odor

- The low odor nature of this product makes it a perfect fit for sensitive environments such as schools and hospitals, and a must for environmentally conscious facilities. Insul-Lock LR is a V.O.C. compliant solution that will not disrupt building occupants.

• No Deck Penetration/No Fastener Backout

- Leaving the deck completely intact lessens the possibility of structural damage and moisture entry while preventing the disruption of interior operations. Eliminating fasteners not only prolongs the life of the waterproofing system, but it also eliminates the potential for thermal bridging and a future cause of leaks.

• No Priming Required

- Insul-Lock® requires no priming, which translates into faster, lower cost applications. Advanced research and development has created a product that will bond to a variety of substrates, including residual coal tar pitch.

• Versatile

- Insul-Lock® is compatible with a variety of insulation types including polystyrene. It provides a fast set in a variety of temperatures. In addition, Insul-Lock LR requires no special application equipment making it a smart option for difficult to access areas.

• Ease of Application

- Insul-Lock® pour-grade formula provides consistent yields and fast application. Because it is a low-rise foam, it will not displace insulation boards as it cures. Insul-Lock LR sets quickly (usually within 25 minutes) which provides uplift protection sooner than most other insulation adhesives.
